Terry Avenue Farmers Market will be closing after this Thursday!
Take full advantage of Mother Nature’s bounty every Thursday – all summer long – at the Terry Avenue Farmers Market, an extension of Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market right here in our neighborhood. Local farmers tend crops year round and harvest fresh flowers and produce every morning and deliver them right to the heart of SLU.
Pop out during lunch for wholesome, hand-picked fruits, veggies and other fare like nuts, honey and artisan cheese. Brighten your desk with a bundle of fresh-cut flowers. Or grab some fixin’s for an amazing dinner. You’ll find some of the best the Northwest has to offer on display in a colorful open-air market. No bar codes, no conveyor belts. Just you, the farmers, and their finest goods.
“The Farmers Market in South Lake Union provides convenient access to locally-grown, seasonal products from some of Pike Place Market’s favorite producers,” said Teri Wheeler, Food & Farm Program Manager at Pike Place Market. “They promote a sense of community within the neighborhood and a connection to the iconic Pike Place Market – one of Seattle’s most beloved institutions.”
