Seattle Street Car

Have you ridden the Seattle Street Car? I have ridden it on many occassions and have found it to be a rather quick ride into the city from South Lake Union!

SLU-Streetcar-Stops112007-706x1024 Seattle Street CarAs  you can see there are many stops that make this the perfect mode of transportation to and from the downtown core, to South Lake Union! The street car runs every 15 minutes from 6am- 9pm Monday-Thursday.  6am-11pm on Friday and Saturday.  10am-7pm on Sundays.  Adult fares is $2.50, Seniors .75 cents, Children 5 & under are FREE!

ORCA cards and Metro transfers are accepted as proof of payment on the Seattle Streetcar.  Individual ride tickets may also be purchased at the station platforms with debit or credit cards, or on board using cash.   PugetPass, Metro passes and all Metro transfers will be accepted. Please note that Sound Transit and Community Transit transfers are not accepted at this time.
